It all started with a crazy idea: "Funny fan shirts from Alain Berset, that's it!" Thought a friend and I while we were watching a Federal Council press conference in the first Corona lockdown. When I posted this on my Instagram account, which had a modest number of followers, the next day, I didn't know what would happen to me.

Within a few hours, total strangers wrote to me asking if they could buy such a shirt and some Swiss media outlets wanted to report on the story. Although in the beginning I had no intention of actually printing the shirts, let alone selling them, I decided to produce the Alain Berset shirts - to give people a little joy in a difficult time.

With the help of family and friends, I sold around 4,000 T-shirts via the quarantänefanshop.ch website - and even sent one to Berset himself.
